Have I got some goodies for you and most of you know the routine by now…Comfy chair, a drink and some time to enjoy some great reads…
Kicking off with a reblog from Sally who gives wonderful advice on the benefits of herbs and seeds and how they can help many medical conditions although of course if you are on any existing treatment then speak to your doctor or health practitioner many can work in tandem with traditional medicines.
Next, we have Lotus Seeds which I first discovered on a trip to the Red Lily Lake near our home
A lovely tasty snack with many health benefits… One of my many wonderful chance discoveries …

Meat Kebabs…I miss a nice donner kebab and it’s been about 7 years since I had one not something that you see here but something which I may try to replicate very soon as I used to make my own meat when the kids were at home so time to do that again methinks.

It was then time for my reveal and rant…We all need to talk with our feet we are all powerful as the consumer and it is high time that the manufacturers realised that…Don’t you think?
Next week or Monday’s as that is the day when I reveal my findings and next week it is a shocking one… So don’t forget and mi9ss it as all will be revealed to make doubly sure then please follow my blog and you will never miss anything again…
Spoiler Alert! Do you know what is in the Hot Dogs you eat ?????

Next, we have Eat Smart and lose weight…I want to lose a few more lbs before the Christmas celebrations start and then come the New Year I should be about the same as before I started but no more…So healthy eating it is with a few indulgences at Christmas which I will enjoy ( in moderation) and not add too much or nothing if I can help it…
I was also very chuffed as not only did I get some lovely comments about my oat bars but my Grandson took some to school and his teacher told him that I should sell them to coffee shops…

Wednesday it is my regular cookery column over at Sally’s and recipes for Christmas cake and puddings…They are much nicer if made before and allowed to mature ideally I would love to keep one for next year and it would be really matured and scrumptious but it is too humid here so not a good idea they just ferment.
It was then time for me to share a lovely Thai Pork Noodle soup recipe…

Watching and waiting is a short story from me about people watching a prompt for Lorna @ Gin and Lemonade... It is not often I treat you to my short stories so I hope you enjoy it xx

Lastly, it is Fang-Tastic Fridays where I give you trivia, facts, recipes, games and a cocktail… In no particular order…lol

About Carol Taylor:
Enjoying life in The Land Of Smiles I am having so much fun researching, finding new, authentic recipes both Thai and International to share with you. New recipes gleaned from those who I have met on my travels or are just passing through and stopped for a while. I hope you enjoy them.
I love shopping at the local markets, finding fresh, natural ingredients, new strange fruits and vegetable ones I have never seen or cooked with. I am generally the only European person and attract much attention and I love to try what I am offered and when I smile and say Aroy or Saab as it is here in the north I am met with much smiling.
Some of my recipes may not be in line with traditional ingredients and methods of cooking but are recipes I know and have become to love and maybe if you dare to try you will too. You will always get more than just a recipe from me as I love to research and find out what other properties the ingredients that I cook with have to improve our health and wellbeing.
Exciting for me hence the title of my blog, Retired No One Told Me! I am having a wonderful ride and don’t want to get off, so if you wish to follow me on my adventures, then welcome! I hope you enjoy the ride also and if it encourages you to take a step into the unknown or untried, you know you want to…….Then, I will be happy!

Great Sunday morning read. Thanks for the reminder that it is almost time to make the Christmas cake. I also find they are so much better when allowed to mature.
