Lisa who has too much time on her hands nominated this crazy lady…Her words…lol…But I forgive her already even though she eats all the ice cream…haha… Lisa has ALS but is one of the most positive people I have had the pleasure of meeting online so please pop over and say hello to her and if you have an ice cream recipe for her she will just love it!
Thank you…Lisa xxxx
How my blog started.
Well, that is easy it started when I moved to sunny Thailand and has escalated from there…It was a way of keeping track of our adventures and discoveries but over the years my other side has come out…Which if you didn’t already know…lol…is my dislike of sneaky manufacturers, processed foods and waste…
Along the way, I have met the most amazing people from around the world … Blogging has opened some doors and made me realise what kind, caring people are out there in this sometimes not very nice world.
Advice for New Bloggers:
Be yourself and blog about what you know best… Join relevant FB groups( 1 0r 2) and ask questions the help and advice can be invaluable to you.
Have fun xx
It says 15 but I will do what I do and if I don’t nominate you but you feel you wish to take up the challenge then please do I love so many more than 15.
If you don’t wish to accept the challenge that is fine I know how busy some of you are and some just don’t do awards…I very rarely do but wanted to highlight Lisa and ALS which is a wicked disease and one which I hope they find a cure for very soon…
All of the blogs below are newish blogs to me and yes food and recipes come into the equation and also London Town which I love… My regulars who I love your blogs dearly do not be upset and if you want to take up the mantle please do but I know how very busy you all are so it is for that reason I have only picked 6 and maybe you haven’t read them and may love them as much as I do…
Thank you again, Lisa, for the nomination…xxx
About Carol Taylor:
Enjoying life in The Land Of Smiles I am having so much fun researching, finding new, authentic recipes both Thai and International to share with you. New recipes gleaned from those who I have met on my travels or are just passing through and stopped for a while. I hope you enjoy them.
I love shopping at the local markets, finding fresh, natural ingredients, new strange fruits and vegetable ones I have never seen or cooked with. I am generally the only European person and attract much attention and I love to try what I am offered and when I smile and say Aroy or Saab as it is here in the north I am met with much smiling.
Some of my recipes may not be in line with traditional ingredients and methods of cooking but are recipes I know and have become to love and maybe if you dare to try you will too. You will always get more than just a recipe from me as I love to research and find out what other properties the ingredients I use contain to improve our health and wellbeing.
Exciting for me hence the title of my blog, Retired No One Told Me! I am having a wonderful ride and don’t want to get off, so if you wish to follow me on my adventures, then welcome! I hope you enjoy the ride also and if it encourages you to take a step into the unknown or untried, you know you want to…….Then, I will be happy!
