Also last week in the UK headlines, the appalling cover up about the percentage of prepared sandwiches, supplied to hospitals and care homes that contain Listeria.. and it is only the fact that three patients died and other are seriously ill that it has been uncovered.

  1. Smorgasbord - Variety is the Spice of Life.

    Thanks for sharing Carol…Hospital catering has long been a source of disgust and anger for me. This latest episode with the sandwiches in the UK is indicative of most hospitals approach to catering. Patients recovering from operations need freshly prepared meals but most are brought in pre-prepared from production centres 100s of miles away.Appalling. Perhaps the deaths from this outbreak will make them think again… hugsxx

      You would like to think so wouldn’t you, Sally? However based on past performance where food is concerned I don’t think lessons are learnt..Sceptical I know but I am sick to the teeth of inactive organisations and governments in one way or another…The share…You are welcome between us I hope we are opening a few eyes and ears Hugs xxx
