Today is the final day of this Travel Challenge...as we can’t physically travel at the moment it has been a joy to see all the stunning images from around the world from those who have/are participating and all from a comfy chair…
Firstly I will share some of my favourite flowers in my garden…
I love orchids and as they’re a parasite they grow almost anywhere on the bark of a tree for example…
They come in such beautiful colours I never pick them I just let them grow and enjoy them in all their beauty…
Sharon at the awesome Gum trees and Galaxies blog, just the title which I think is so cool just makes me want to pop in for a read nominated me to participate in the Travel picture challenge. Thank you, Sharon x
I mean do I have travel pictures…haha… Gum trees and galaxies blogs about travel, adventure, books, life and stuff especially if your passion is all of those plus the environment it then makes this blog a must-read who knows what little gems you may find…
The chefs in Thailand are famous for their stunning fruit carvings and love to serve a meal complete with a carving, in this case, it was from a mango…
How stunning is that fish…the chef did us a whole display for our last night’s dinner at this wonderful hotel…
I have enjoyed this challenge I have also enjoyed seeing how some of my fellow bloggers have taken it one step further and made it into a fabulous post…Well done those of you who have done that you are all stars and your images are fabulous…
Monks are a common daily sight here as they walk the streets or if you visit a temple they always have a smile and stop to chat like this one here …
The challenge is about visual images so we need to post a favourite travel picture for 10 days without explanation and nominate someone else to participate. Although I will tell you these are wild ostriches on Lancelin Beach in WA…It is 22 miles of pure white sand and the highest sand dunes I have ever seen…
This is my last day( Day 10) and I am proud to nominate the lovely Robbie Cheadle and I look forward to seeing what images she treats us to I am sure they will be wonderful…
This is the challenge…if anyone wants to be nominated I am sure Robbie will oblige just let her know..x
The challenge is about visual images so we need to post a favourite travel picture for 10 days without explanation and nominate someone else to participate. Please also link back to the person who nominated you…
If I nominate you and you don’t want to participate, please do not feel obliged, but if you do, please link back to me so that I can see your post, in these curtailed times vicarious travel is a lovely escape, I would love to see what you choose to post.
This is a lovely challenge which I have enjoyed… thank you, Sharon, for nominating me xxx
May God bless you with the wonderful work you are doing, coming from me as a new blogger.

The flowers in your garden are stunning, Carol. My orchids are not yet blooming, so all I have now are a few pots of wilted poinsettias. There’s hope though: an amaryllis from my daughter looks promising!

They are beautiful he did offer to come to my home and teach us but at the time it just didn’t happen and probably something I wouldn’t really do often.. In this instance I prefer to marvel at the talent of others…Looking forward to your travel pictures Robbie I am sure they will be stunning xx

Thanks for sharing Carol. Your orchids are beautiful, lovely colours. The fruit carvings are stunning. I am always interested to see the environment and culture of where people live. Where did you live before moving to Thailand? Xo
