Day 10 of #bloganuary…What are 5 things you’re grateful for today?
I’m grateful that I woke up to another day ( a bonus) at my age a day that was also bright and sunny…
I am grateful that I didn’t run out of eggs… I had just enough for when I made the boys bacon and egg sandwiches this morning…
I am grateful that I have managed to schedule two blog posts so far today and that I didn’t manage to inadvertently click the publish button like I did one-day last week..when the post was incomplete…Doh!
I am grateful that it isn’t my turn to cook dinner tonight…
Finally, I am grateful that my Chinese Kale is growing nicely and should be ready to pick in a few days the little flowers just started opening this morning…
This post is part of the WordPress Bloganuary Challenge 2022 where everyone is provided with a writing prompt each day. Today’s prompt was to write about What are 5 things you’re grateful for today?

Family, friends, a place to call home, relatively good health, and the freedom of retirement.

I am grateful my family is healthy, my dogs are behaving (mostly), my car will be fixed today (maybe), my coffee cup is full, and the sun finally came out!

I’m grateful for my family and that we are all well (that’s another two)
I’m grateful for the birds that sing to me each day – my wonderful native chorus.

I’m sorry to hear that, Carol. I hope they will make a full recovery without too much discomfort.
