Day 13 of #bloganuary…What does your ideal day look like?

My ideal day can mean many things to me…firstly it is weather dependant…

I love the sun but I also love the rain …I love a good thunderstorm where angry black clouds are chasing each other across the skies, where the lightning lights up the whole sky, where the thunder is so loud that it makes you jump and if there is a rainbow then that’s a bonus…

It goes without saying that if I wake up and feel fine …every day like that is a bonus as our years advance…I love listening to the dawn chorus that helps make my ideal day…nature is a great leveller and just watching the squirrels as they dance outside my window always makes me smile…

Nature and people with smiling faces play a big part in my ideal day…to sit and read is another part of my ideal day…or just to sit and be…

An ideal day can just be an ordinary day…where the birds sing and the Squirrels frolic but all is at peace with the world….

    My ideal day has no break in routine.
    Plus.
    No rain.
    No unexpected callers.
    No power cuts.
    No Internet failure.
    No noisy building work or gardening jobs nearby.
    No poor shut-in dogs barking all day.
    And at least one large glass of red wine before dinner.

    I had that kind of start to my day today – watching two squirrels dart and scamper from limb to limb outside my bedroom window. Your post was so uplifting, Dorothy. Every day can be ideal with the right mindset!
