Day 20 of #bloganuary…Today’s prompt is…  If you could, what year would you time travel to and why?

Would I want to fast forward to the year 2025…only 3 years but it would give me the answers to questions that I don’t want to know… I would rather wait and see…

My option is back to the past but where to?…

Do I go back to the 1930s to when my mother and father were born that could be lovely …or to see Elvis…or maybe Buddy Holly…Although a year younger than Elvis, Buddy Holly got started in professional music before Elvis. Around 1951, when Buddy was 15 years old, he started jamming with another Lubbock musician, Jack Neal.

Buddy Holly produced some of the most distinctive and influential work in rock music. … With hits such as “Peggy Sue” and “That’ll Be the Day,” Holly was a rising star when a tragic plane crash struck him down in 1959 at age 22.

But no as most of that info I can get online and listen to docu’s and the music…

No! I think I would love to go back to 1815 and be a fine lady…Why ..not because I am a pretty dress type of person but to be one for a day and have a white horse…I’m sure I will be happy to come back to this time but just for a day…

To be pampered and wear pretty dresses and have someone do my hair and makeup to ride in a horse and carriage go shopping for fine silks for a dress or three…

Go downstairs and see what’s cooking for dinner and how…now that would be cool…so yes, 1815 here I come…

      Haha…I could have picked anything and I did think about it…but this was something I have always thought about and still do and wonder what real life would have been like in the past…Thank you, Jim, for leaving a valued comment 🙂 x
