Welcome to the round-up of posts you might have missed this week on Smorgasbord.
Hope that you are all well. I know some of you are snowbound in the USA and in parts of Europe. This week has also seen the fifth fall of snow in the Sahara in the last forty years and a rare carpet of snow welcomed those heading to worship in Jerusalem and it caused major disruption in Athens and Istanbul.
I would also like to thank Sally for promoting my new A-Z…Starting with an insight to the cuisine of Argentina.

Gawd…I had no idea there’d been snow in the Sahara. We were promised great big extremes of weather with climate change and now we’re getting them. 😦

There has been snow everywhere, Greece has quite a lot although Greece does have snow during the winter months…Turkey has had snow…

It’s insane. These are all countries I think of as quite hot. Well, hot in comparison to say the UK or the Scandinavian countries.
