Welcome to my weekly roundup …Wow, I can’t believe we are in June already halfway through the year…June is the first month of astronomical summer in the Northern Hemisphere and astronomical winter in the Southern Hemisphere…the roses are showing their pretty heads here plus it is the flower of the month June alongside its fragrant sister the lovely honeysuckle…my journey to the UK was not without its holdups…but the sunshine has come with me which is a bonus it is still got a chill in the air but it’s not quite so bracing this week…lol…

Monday Musings is where normally I share some things that have thrilled me, made me think or smile or even have a mini-rant but generally it is my happy place and I hope yours…June has well and truly arrived…I have also arrived in the Uk and it’s sunny!… A week later and the sun has been out and 30 degrees has been reached this week…the sunshine must have crept into my suitcase…Yeah!

This means it’s fruit salad and smoothies all the way…home from home…plus all the goodies I have not eaten for quite a while…sigh…I am trying to eke them out but that went out of the window at the clotted cream and strawberry stage-sigh…..

Thank you for joining me today for my weekly roundup I hope you relaxed and enjoyed catching up and as always I look forward to your comments…it seems the sunshine has gone away and we had a few drops of rain here and it’s cloudy and gloomy…but we had a nice morning me and my #1 son cooked a mushroom lasagne he did the cooking and I did the chopping, peeling and grating plus washing up as we went it was lovely cooking together again…xx
