Monday Musings where normally I share some things that have thrilled me, made me think or smile or even have a mini-rant but generally it is my happy place and I hope yours…July has well and truly arrived as has the sun and it seems it is here to stay for a little longer…
I’m sure some of you have seen this before…I hadn’t and how amazing and fit is this lady…
After watching this lady and seeing how my mother had deteriorated it has made me even more determined to up my game when I get home…
I know many of you have dogs and they are your treasured pets…my son has a beautiful(spoilt) Frenchie who at this moment is curled up as close as he can get to me while I am typing…if I could get away with putting him in my suitcase and sneaking him home with me when I return I would he is such a character…
He loves his toys, especially his ball and doesn’t stop mithering you after you have thrown it once…lol…his mistress also loves dressing him up at Christmas and Halloween etc…and I’m sure if ever this collection reaches the Uk…Franck will be the proud owner of a few of these…
Country star Dolly Parton plans to bring out a range of clothes and accessories for dogs, says The Sun. The collection, to launch later this year, will unsurprisingly be named “Doggy Parton”…
July...is also unofficially known as “The Junk Food” month…July is the month of barbecues, beach days, music festivals and road trips. Along with all of this comes some serious junk food cravings!
It’s no surprise that July lays claim to National Ice Cream Month, National Chocolate Month, National French Fry Month and National Hot Dog Month…the hot dogs hold no charm for me but ice cream does…Hopefully, I will have my first Mr Whippy for years on Thursday next week…fish and chips at the seaside and some lovely shellfish…the stuff of memories and cravings…
Thank you for joining me today for Monday Musings as always I look forward to your comments…xoxo
Frenchies are so cute 💛 and the 91 year old gymnast is amazing – just goes to show that age is meaningless on paper, very inspiring💫

I have a soft spot for Frenchies as well, Carol, and love Dolly’s idea, and the oh, so flexible mature lady… Thanks for these findings and shares!

I hurt just watching that gymnast, Carol. It just goes to show what lifelong exercise can accomplish. And “Doggie Parton” cracked me up. Lol Great find. Thanks for the fun post.

Ice cream is my biggest weakness. We never keep it in the house for that reason. I’ve been awfully good lately; it might be time to treat myself.

Julie had a Mr Whippy ‘Oyster’ from the ice cream man yesterday. he drives around the streets of Beetley playing an anoying tune on his tannoy.
It must be hot enough for you today, Carol?. Almost 5:30pm here in Beetley, and still 37C!
(Or have you still got your cardigan on?) 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x

You are quite the informer, Carol. I can’t imagine a 91-year-old gymnast. The doggie clothes line by Dolly Parton is to news to me also. Have a marvelous week! 😀

Junk food month? I had no idea, but your point is good, there are lots of junk food opportunities in July. Though I think outdoor grilling could also be healthy, like last night we toasted some marshmallows on the Weber grill. That’s health food in my book.
