Welcome to Monday Musings..Monday Musings is where normally I share some things that have thrilled me, made me think or smile or even have a mini-rant but generally it is my happy place and I hope yours… Today it is a thoughtful place when I look around the world and see how many people are mourning the death of Queen Elizabeth II…

It doesn’t seem appropriate to chatter on about anything else, not today…so I will leave you with two of my favourite pieces of music a hymn and the National Anthem from last night of the proms…

      I have never classed myself as a royalist, Sally but the whole proceeding made me realise many things and certainly how much the Queen was loved and respected around the world and how dediacted she was to the crown…a hard act to follow xx

    I have lost a week and a half of my life with absolutely no regrets with all the coverage of the life of our queen and her final laying to rest. What a wonderful woman – I have so much admiration for her. RIP Your Majesty and best wishes for King Charles as he continues over a thousand years of historical legacy.

    Yes I love Jerusalem. We have been to lots/well quite a few Proms and managed the last night once. It seemed a shame they cancelled it this year, I always watch it on television.
