Monday Musings…31st October 2022…Halloween…

Good Morning…and welcome to Monday Musings… it’s Halloween… Happy Halloween to all who celebrate Halloween…I was never raised to celebrate Halloween although when my children were young the trick or treating found its way over the water…but we never celebrated to the extent that Halloween is celebrated elsewhere in the world…

I wonder if these elephants will get pumpkins this year this is a cute video and these elephants know just how to release the flesh of the pumpkin…

Halloween…There are lots of spooky and absolutely gross Halloween recipes around on social media …John Reiber has found the spookiest and the grossest Halloween goodies…I love John’s posts as he has the gift of finding some of the most unusual of foods some delicious, some way out there and some utterly gross but always a talking point…and fun…I love these cheesy spiders to see more ideas for Halloween food please head over to John’s blog and prepare to be scared…

    We used to dress up at school each year. I’ll admit I miss that part. Although Michael Jackson’s abuse of children changed my opinion of him, Thriller is a fantastic video.

      I totally agree with you, Pete on MJ I think he was a wonderful talent but I don’t play his music anymore…Thriller on the u tube mix is not sung by him but there is no comparisson . Such a shame …

        I had fun handing out candy to the neighborhood kids. And, I didn’t indulge in a single piece of candy. I just couldn’t derail my weight loss progress. It’s so hard to lose. Why set myself back.

    It’s good to find some Halloween nibbles that aren’t reliant on sugar (apart from the good old spaghetti worms, of course.)

    I wasn’t raised knowing about Halloween either, and I didn’t have any children to become addicted to the commercialisation of it. So I still have no interest in it.
