Monday Musings 19th December 2022…I went to space and….Silent Night(Acapello)…The Big Fruit Loop whose for a big breakfast?

Good Morning…and welcome to Monday Musings… a place where my inner child comes out sometimes and also where anything which has wowed or dismayed me has happened over the last week…it is also only 8 sleeps, to #Christmas Eve!…that means that although Monday Musings is about random things I may sneak in some Christmas snippets…

I found some young ginger on my market so yesterday I made my first batch of stem ginger plus as I haven’t been able to find suet or any mince pies to buy that had pastry as thick as my finger and cost an arm and a leg however I came across a Mary Berry recipe and she says she never uses suet and always uses butter so this morning I made a batch it does smell lovely and it doesn’t have to be left for weeks to mature…I suppose now I need to put up my tree..yes it is still in the cupboard my home is not festive at all…yet!

Aston(grandson) loves fruit loops and you all know me,,, I buy the ones that tell me they are au natural I’m not sure I believe the hype but as he eats otherwise very healthily I let it go…I would love to get him one of these as a surprise but I know that’s not going to happen…Limited Edition blah blah!.First seen on John Rieber’s blog and then on Beth’s original post... it’s hilarious…Thank you both for sharing…

    Does Pentatonix ever not sound amazing? If so, I’ve never heard it. I enjoyed the giant Fruit Loop on Beth’s blog earlier today. I recommended she pull it out at work and start munching on it as if it were an everyday occurrence.
