Hello and welcome to my weekly roundup of posts, you may have missed during the week…it was a mixed week last week one of those weeks we all sometimes have but the weekend was fabulous we went to a Thai house blessing every new home, business or car is blessed by the Buddhist monks…a first for us for a house… the blessing was carried out and then we had the traditional Thai Dancers and Traditional Thai Food..the weather was hot so the kids cooled off in the natural pool the adults ate, chatted and then there was the given Karaoke Thais love the Karaoke… then Sunday morning we went to a Thai fishing hole where the fish were caught by hand and then BBQ, some were made into a fish soup, there was som tam(papaya salad) and sticky rice and of course there was beer…sitting at the side of the fishing hole on rush mats it was lovely apart from us it was just fields and more fields..peaceful apart for the laughter when a fish escaped or jumped out of the water just out of reach…
Monday Musings…
Monday Musings where my muse pinpoints anything exciting or unusual I have read, seen or experienced during the last week it could be anything that piques my interest as I explore the rabbit holes…smile…Early vending Machines, Daylight Saving plus Bocelli and Tori Kelly…
Monday Musings…27th March 2023…Vending Machines, DST plus Bocelli and Tori Kelly…
My First Culinary A-Z…
A-Z’s are my favourite posts to research and write as I learn so much…today it is the letter T for Tea and Toast but did you know how you eat your tea and toast tells a lot about your social standing…
Sally of Smorgasbord Magazine is kindly rewinding this series and I am thoroughly enjoying rereading the series…Many of my favourite foods start with the letter T …Tahini, Tamarind, and Tempura are among them…To read the original post please click the highlighted link below it will take you to Smorgasbord Magazine where Sally has the coffee pot brewing…See you there xx
Thursday Thoughts…
The history of tree huggers, another senseless killing spree with an assault rifle plus Bocelli and Celine Dionne dueting with “The Prayer” which I thought rather apt given what’s going on in the world…
I have always had a smattering of knowledge as to what was where in my body and the functions of any said organ however as I have got older and have more time on my hands-smile-I have found a new urgency to know more and if possible give me and my family the best chance of staying disease free with good mobility always a plus at my age-big grin-plus there is so much we can do to help ourselves…
I am an advocate for eating good food, in season and for keeping our bodies as chemical-free as we can all things you and I can control…after all it’s our hands who hold the fork …
This is why I find Smorgasbord Magazine a great starting point…I trust my friend Sally as she has the knowledge and experience of nutrition….So please click the highlighted link below and learn about how you can make sure your liver is as healthy as it can be…See you there x

It was Colleen and I truly hope one day you get to experience something equally as special…there must be Buddist temples where you are are and I am guessing that they perform the same blessings it’s worth looking at and you may know someone who is getting their home, business or car blessed Hugs xx

Yes! I did find a small temple and Buddhist garden. I hope to visit this spring. My issue has always been I don’t know the language, and many Theravada monks don’t speak English well enough. Fingers crossed. 💜
