Welcome to my weekly roundup of posts just in case, you are like me and find a roundup helpful especially when the week has been busy…Starting with Monday Musings where my muse pinpoints anything exciting or unusual I have read, seen or experienced during the last week it could be anything that piques my interest…
I am a lover of tradition as I think many times traditions end up being cast away for quicker versions that are not always as good or as healthy plus I think we need traditions… we can’t keep going forward and never look back as our lives would be pretty empty I think and we learn from our past which makes us better going forward…
Soy sauce is a food staple in Asia and in many places around the world and to know how it was made decades ago I find really interesting as food should be a joyful thing if all we have is the now where will that end tablets instead of a plate of food…?
Boxing didn’t start with all the rules and regs there are now and some are essential for safety however we then sometimes lose the excitement and the thrill of the sport…
Then I took another look at processed foods and the differences as not all processed food is bad when it is good it can be very good like good olive oil…but when it is bad it can be very bad for our health…
I love my A-Z’s this one is a virtual tour of the world …on Wednesday it was Greece the land of beautiful Olive Oil and the freshest of seafood and that’s just for starters…I hope you enjoy this virtual tour of Greek cuisine…
Thursday Thoughts…
Another tradition that is being upheld plus a beautiful duet from one of my favourite tenors and his daughter Virginia…who has a stunning voice …
Another great post from my friend Sally who shares her wealth of nutritional knowledge with us…This week it is Eczema which can be very distressing if you have a bad attack but as always Sally’s in-depth look at possible causes and how you can either prevent it or keep it manageable..to read the full original post please click the highlighted link below…
Thank you for joining me today as always I look forward to your comments and any shares…I hope you have all has or are having a fabulous weekend xx

These weekly roundups come in quite handy, Carol. I used to be on the blogs daily for a long time and didn’t need them, but now I do.
Are you still getting in your walking and jogging? I don’t run at all, but I’m a regular walker and gym goer, though I have to pace myself a little more. Of course, I’m still looking for whatever I can use to motivate myself. Right now, it’s our son’s wedding upcoming on June 3rd. I’m already imagining those wedding photos. 😉

Pleased to hear it, Pete.. Yes I walk every day and average 7-8 km per day… The jogging after damaging my knee I have decided to give a miss… My motivation was initially to come of my BP meds and now it is to try and stay mobile as long as possible plus I hope to avoid dementia like my mother has by exercising and keeping my brain fit… How exciting a wedding, Pete that is your motivation I’m sure the photos will be great and reflect your hardwork.

So good to hear you’re being proactive. Sigh, those bad knees—I’ve got one too. Many of the people I read to in the assisted living facility are on the dementia scale, and I watched my mom go through it, so it’s very much on my mind.

Mine has healed now, Pete and I think as long as I just continue walking and don’t try jogging again all will be well although I have to admit I did enjoy the little jogging I did before my knee decided to play up but I am not young anymore so have to accept my limitations I suppose-sigh-yes dementia is very much on my mind to, Pete my mother knows no one any more she just isn’t there and it breaks my heart and if I do what is advised then maybe my children will not see me like that and weep …Take care, Pete and stay well 🙂

Carol, I had to delete the last 7 letters of your retweet to be able to share it. It had too many characters otherwise.
Hope you had a lovely Sunday.
Best wishes, Pete. x
