Monday Musings 1st August 2022…

Welcome to Monday Musings and it’s the 1st of August…soon be time to make the Christmas puddings and cake…Just saying!…my phone is on its way back to me courtesy of #thaismile airways such good service…for my musings today its things I think are important to us and to the world we live in firstly you know that two of my daughters unfortunately have been having treatment for breast cancer…Lauren’s maintenance scan after her treatment showed she was all clear which was a relief all round…

I was concerned though that I should be signing a petition for something that should be standard for ALL Breast Cancer patients apparently NOT…Please can you add your signature as all the suffers and families(ME) will be very grateful XXX

Factory Farming…I am not going to show you the gory pictures I think you all know by now exactly how your food gets to your table…I read this post the other day and I was shocked not sure why really at how many factory farms there actually are in the world…this post just shows the scale in the US…Mr Google sort of hinted at the scale worldwide it seems to me that these sites are somewhat hidden and off the radar…Just saying as the information is hard to come by although I didn’t dig as deep as I could have I had just returned home from my travels but trust me I will in the meantime below are some happy chooks, unlike the factory-farmed ones…

Everyone knows that I strive to cook food for my family which is chemical free and where
possible I cook from scratch and use fruit and vegetables that are in season…we know we
should eat processed foods in moderation and this post was interesting as it showed how a
high protein diet with not very much fruit and fresh vegetables but these indigenous people are
healthy…I have my thoughts as to why…Do you? Are we on the same page?
I think we can draw our own conclusions about lifestyle diseases etc…
I am not suggesting that we should adopt the same lifestyle but I am suggesting we look at
where we can make changes for the sake of our health …
Thank you for joining me today as always I look forward to your comments…I am back home so
will be visiting your blogs more regularly see you tomorrow for a chicken recipe courtesy of
Tandy…Thank you Tandy x
