Hello and welcome to my weekly roundup of posts, you may have missed during the week… I am happy to report I am still spam free apart from the odd straggler…the weather is hotting up although I know some of you are experiencing colder weather…so please wrap up warm …the walking is on track and the knee although not completely better is a lot better thank goodness…the two men in this house I am proud to say are still NOT smoking and have increased their exercises I am so very proud of them and one of my friends I met on last night’s walk she was walking and said she was not doing as much as me but was aiming to walk more so gradually the people around me are upping their game which makes me happy…
Monday Musings.
The start of another week time is flying by…this week’s natural antibiotic was grapefruit, I think many of us can remember the Grapefruit diet being hailed as a miracle and a fast fix…however, grapefruit has far more benefits to us than a miracle diet, BYO how many times have you felt embarrassed to ask if your own container can be filled to be met with a panicked look or an outright no! The times are changing, and of course, we had Valentine’s Day I hope you ladies and gents were spoiled the music was from Oliver one of my favourite songs sung by Nancy “As long as he needs me”…
I had forgotten how many of my favourite foods began with the letter Q…thanks to Sally of Smorgasbord Magazine who rewound this A-Z I was able to recap …Thank you, Sally I hope you enjoy your break with your sisters x
Thursday Thoughts…
I know we are in the internet age/era but anyone who makes toast must know about the crumb tray please tell me you do …I can’t believe that it was on Tik Tok and so many didn’t know…moving on quickly…Tutankhamun’s tomb was/is a sight to behold such workmanship[ and all in gold…a fabulous find, music is from Chuck Berry and John Lennon a fabulous track.
One of the leading causes of angina and heart disease is atherosclerosis, where we should start when looking to change our lifestyle and diet…as I get older I am far more aware of what can go wrong with my ageing body and anything that I can do that helps me keep this body running to its best capacity…I’m up for it as I can control my diet and exercise both of which can help…To read the full, original post please click the highlighted link below…See you there the kettle in on x
