Mangoes are in season now and my friend Reena posted a lovely recipe for a lovely mango dessert ..One that I couldn’t resist sharing this lovely post. If you have any mango recipes and I have mangoes galore then please let me have them…

Healthy Eating time and Moi was back on her soapbox… Added Sugars…Did you know that just one can of soda exceeds the daily recommended guidelines so if you are a soda drinker and consume a few cans a day you could very soon rack up those extra unhealthy pounds/kilos…It is those sneaky manufacturers again… The ones I just love to hate…

Lamb is something I don’t have very much here and when I do I will be making this dish…When you see it and read the recipe you will be drooling it sounds awesome and so moreish I just had to reblog this post from John Reiber. Once  I get my hands on that elusive piece of lamb… I am like a female  Sherlock Holmes when I start looking for something 🙂 so hopefully it will be very soon…I will be indulging 🙂 Thank you, John a very nice recipe.

I love mango and as we have so many also love to find mango recipes and this one sounds very nice 🙂

Famous legendary Kuremal’s Stuffed whole  Mango Kulfi of Purani Dilli(Old Delhi) replicated in my kitchen.  Not only Delhites, but tourists from all over the world(specially food lovers) visit this joint for having Kulfi.

I had been to this joint few months back and while he was preparing the mango to serve us, I put many questions to the vendor about the recipe and got an idea of the preparation. I decided to give a trial and OMG!! I  was excited to see the result. It was ultimate both  in looks and in taste. My first trial was great and I am sure to go better  with more trials.

Mango Pudding

Well Mangoes, most of us in sunny cimes have mangoes galore so a lovely recipe for you from my favorite Indian cook 🙂

When there was more and more mangoes, I love to try out some delicious recipes with those. This time it was Mango pudding. Just like that whenever I get irritated with something may be people, things, so and so, I enter kitchen and try to innovative a dish which struck my mind at that time. Got to prepare this on Last Friday night, which resulted with the smell of mango all over the kitchen.

Mango Pudding was heavenly, delicious with perfect texture and flavor. It would say this would be the favorite for everyone right from kids till the elder ones. Let me share the recipe…

  • Mangoes – 2 nos
  • Egg yolks – 3 nos
  • Sugar – 5 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 ½ cups
